ABOUT ME
Over the past couple years, I have become more and more attracted to wood as the surface of my paintings. It started as an appreciation for the surface itself; the way it held both acrylic and oils. I gradually, however, found myself using the existing imagery; the dynamism and beauty within the wood’s grain as part of the finished product. Since then, I’ve been exploring the concepts of natural beauty, man-made beauty, and inter-connectivity.
