‘Slightly Stolen’ November 5 – November 28, 2010

Slightly Stolen is a solo exhibition of new works on canvas and installation by Michael Willett. While appropriating and altering designs from vinyl LP sleeves of the 1960s, Slightly Stolen draws on the geometric and minimalist painting of the time period. The exhibition seeks to raise questions of the originality of the source for art, while speaking to the endless recycling of images in a cut and paste generation.
